LAKE COUNTRY ANTIQUE TRACTOR ASSOCIATION

EDGETA BRANCH 145

 OCTOBER 2, 2017 MINUTES

Vice President Bruce Burnham called the meeting to order at 7 PM. Club president, Ron Davis, was unable to attend tonight’s meeting. There were twenty five in attendance. Don Hatton opened the meeting with prayer.

No health concerns were mentioned but we were very glad to have Jim Dozier back with us after many months of battling his illness.

The secretary’s minutes from the August meeting were approved as corrected (the Bartley Help a Child Pull has been changed from October 14 to October 21). The treasurer’s report indicated a bank balance of $3,390. This report was approved as presented.

Old Business

1. The Emory Pull went very well. Leon Gunn reported that the sled worked perfectly. We decided that we will set up the scales at the Sulphur Springs pull since we had some new pullers who did not know the weight of their tractors.

New Business

1. Bruce had a request from Mary Hall from the Wood Memorial Nursing Home in Mineola asking for a volunteer to furnish a trailer for the Veteran’s Day Parade. Jim Dozier said that he would be glad to take care of this.

2. Ron had requested for a Nominating Committee to be formed to come up with a slate of officers for 2018. No one volunteered to be on the committee. Bruce will report back to Ron that he needs to appoint a committee.
